Dear Maryanne,

The first "stake" in the ground is the most important thing!!  We must 
have the courage to START.  There may not be a perfectly defined goal or 
even well defined steps toward that goal, but it is very important to 
take those first steps.  As we move along the ever e volving information 
highway, we learn more and make changes in our goals and our methods of 
accomplishing them.

Please encourage those in our educational/literary communities to make a 
start, to not be afraid to stumble, or even to fall.  If they only 
realized how many of us have already made our faltering way along the 
path and how eager we would be to help, maybe they would lose their fears 
and join in.
