- ACTIVITIES:
- District wide dedicated 56k Internet connection through
SSHEnet, Elementary renovations will provide 7 data connections
in each room (10BT w/ fiber backbone). Upgrade all HS computers
to P133 w/ 16M Ram and full Multimedia on Win95.
- BARRIERS:
- Time, people power, number of experienced people. My position
is one that requires technical knowledge as well as many
administerial duties. There just doesn't seem enough hours in
a day to accomplish it all.
- GOALS:
- Establish a quality web site on the internet to showcase
activities, student work, provide community with access to
district information, and provide a service to partners in
the community as well. Also, to provide students, parents,
and teachers with dial-in access to district resources on our
network.

- I handle all aspects of networking expertise, hardware repair,
new equipment purchase, etc. However, I am only one person
with such skills and there are many other aspects of my position
that do not receive the attention that it should due to other
responsibilities. I am also the sole source for staff dev.
at this time.
