Until recently BBFASD has had small localized classroom networks to share printers and centralized storage. As a result of Pennsylvania's Link to Learn, the district is installing a district wide academic network to share printers, centralized storage, applications, and Mass storage Media beyond the classroom.

BARRIERS:

Time to train teachers and develop network and curricular programs.

GOALS:

To establish a central campus network to provide technology resources to pilot program teachers, focussing on areas normally ignored, e.g., art, music, communications, industrial arts, and coordinating their integration with other curricular areas, e.g., math and science to provide inter and intranet collaboration.
