ACTIVITIES:

Computers for clarical staff are networked for word processing, printing and database (student information)

BARRIERS:

Inadequate funding and lack of access to grant monies which are available to school districts. Craig House is an approved private school providing educational services to K-12 students with emotional/behavorial problems from Pittsburgh and surrounding school districts. We are responsible for their education for an average of two years. Our goals are to (1) return them to public school (2) prepare them for further education and training or (3) to enter adult life as contributing members of the community. We are without the resources to inservice teachers.

GOALS:

To network the entire building - classrooms, administrative and supervisory offices, and social workers office - in combination with new or newer computers.
