William E. Blair.
Mr Blair is an Advertising Sales Representative with the New Pittsburgh Courier. He graduated from John A. Brashear High School in 1979. From 1979 to 1982 William served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He studied Business management at the Wilma Boyd Career School. He has 10 years sales background, experience with credit collection and advertising sales.
Dr. Mindy Fullilove is currently a Research Psychiatist at the New York State Psychiatric Institute. She is also an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and Public Health at Columbia University.
Dr. Robert Fullilove is currently Associate Dean for Community and Minority Affairs at Columbia University School of Public Health.
Together, they have done extensive work in community on displacement/disruption, AIDS and other minority health issues.
Lydia is of Waccamaw-Souian descent, from North Carolina. Lydia, with her husband who is now deceased and their nine children, now living in Pittsburgh came from the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation in North Dakota.
Today, Mrs. Hale carries on the work of her ancestors, a rich legacy of their Native tradition and heritage, by serving both Native and Non- Native members of the Mon Valley community and surrounding areas. Through the Pittsburgh American Indian Centers, Mrs. Hale makes public appearances in schools,colleges, universities and organizations, as well as cultural events.
Mrs. Hale is a Council Women of Elizabeth Boro, and she speaks on Native American educational, cultural and spiritual topics.
Ethel is an independent public relations consultant with over twenty years experience developing successful marketing campaigns for nonprofit organizations and local political campaigns.
Currently, Ethel is community development specialist for Information Renaissance. She is involved with promoting the development of regional networking infrastructure in support of education, community development and economic revitalization.
