If you have not completed the survey below, please do so now! It's important to help fund the connections of non-profit organizations to the I-Net. Thanks, Ashley Schannauer Information Renaissance Pittsburgh I-Net Working Group Survey AT&T Power Supply Boxes (Responses Requested ASAP) The I-Net Working Group has been discussing ways to reduce the cost of I-Net services for non-profit organizations joining the Working Group I-Net. We have an immediate opportunity to help keep costs down. As part of the upgrade of its cable system, AT&T has to find locations to install 200 to 220 power supply boxes throughout the City. This involves negotiations and leases with many property owners throughout the City. The I-Net Working Group hopes to assemble a group of sites that can be offered to AT&T for this purpose. In exchange, the Working Group will negotiate discounted rates for the I-Net services provided. This survey hopes to identify ASAP an initial set of non-profit sites willing and capable of hosting the AT&T power supply boxes. We are especially interested in non-profits located in the area AT&T is designing first -- the area south of the Ohio and Mon Rivers (for example, West End, Mt. Washington, South Side, Arlington, Beltzhoover, Brookline, Beechview, Carrick). If your organization is interested (or if you know of an organization that may be interested), please complete the attached survey and return it ASAP.
