Dear City Leader,

The East End Neighborhood Forum (EENF) is a group of community organizations
in the East End of Pittsburgh that work together to represent the interests
of the East End. On April 19 the EENF board voted unanimously to support the
two critical elements of the Pittsburgh I - Net proposal:

1. Free cable modems and related services (including Internet access) for 100
community groups.
2. An Extendable Institutional Network (I-Net) to 140 City, School District,
library and museum buildings, with the capability to extend to nearby
community sites.

We voted to support the proposal for these reasons:

The EENF is also committed to becoming actively involved in the planning
process that will lead to the full implementation of the vision. We look
forward to working with each of you on this initiative.

Sincerely,

Stefani Ledewitz
President
