The idea is that "students" create a product and as they are doing that they use information and "tools" available to them. ***I think that there would be agreement from experience that young people can often put online a more substantial, more useful and cleverer product than many corporations or "professionals"--to say nothing of the enthusiasm, experience and the sharing forged in the process. It also makes me think of why I think some teachers/educators/adults are reluctant to use technology. They do not approach learning in this way. They consider themselves to be the "learned" and they are there to impart knowledge to their "students". They do not think that it is their job to learn along with their students .... or .... take the time to learn something new and then use it with their students.
