Hi,	I am Mavis Green a middle school mathematics teacher of Houston.
I have access to the Internet but not as much as I would like to have.
But I try my best to utilize the opportunity to the benefit of the
students. One of my concerns is that because of the limitation of time,
space, overcrowding within the classrooms, and equipment failure or lack
of some interesting lessons will not be done via the use of Internet
resources. Below are some questions:

What should be the primary goals in setting up assessment and evaluation
  in this area?

Should equity be a factor for consideration when these goals are brought
  into focus?

Assessment Strategies and Products that are to be used should take in
consideration the technologies that are readily available and accessible
  to schools already.

Assessment and evaluation should put forth distinct purposes of
assessment which will encourage students to develop their many different
  talents.

Criteria for evaluators to measure the knowledge the students are
displaying rather than be taken by the attractiveness of the display.

Teachers need for training in the area of effective evaluation.
