Enhanced Security under OSF/1

This will upgrade the current password scheme to use shadow passwords.

1. Log in and become root.
2. Type /usr/sbin/secsetup
3. Choose ENHANCED

If you want to disable segment sharing (which is suggested) you will need to rebuild the kernal. If you are unsure of how to do this please contact the Technical Staff before you start the upgrade process.
