  3. Westinghouse serves a largely African-American population. We have found that Maurice Freeman, an African-American undergraduate who has been working with CK:P, has stimulated a great deal of interest in technical aspects of the network among students at the school. We plan to develop summer jobs for some of these students and to develop informal courses relating to the technology in place at the school.
  4. In the restructured program seniors write their research papers with the assistance of juniors who search the Internet for resources. The juniors are taught how to locate these reources by seniors who have undertaken this activity the previous year.
