Planning for CK:P has been an open process, with teachers and support staff across the district invited to participate. For this reason the reach of the project has been far greater than the specific projects enumerated below. To date about 20 of the district's 3,000 teachers have been directly involved in CK:P activities. This experience has greatly boosted the school district's confidence in dealing with educational technology and has stimulated a number of parallel efforts within the district. A link has been established between the district's priorities in such areas as outcomes-based standards and school restructuring and its programs for technology implementation. For each project described in the subsections which follow one can count a half dozen seeds for new activities which have been planted and which will develop in the years to come.
