Common Knowledge: Pittsburgh has spent the last three years learning about
implementing wide-area networks in PPS schools. Our goal is
to research K12 Internet use and share the lessons learned with educators
interested in providing this valuable resource to their students. In
the coming year we will have 20 school sites - 9 High Schools, 4 Middle
Schools and 7 Elemenatary Schools. We also have 2,500 staff members
and over 1,100 students with Internet accounts.
