Submitting Repair Reports - Policy
Unfortunately, hardware breaks. Responsibility for repair of CK:P hardware falls under a number of categories.
- First, the useradmin should inspect the hardware and determine the severity of the problem. It is possible
that routine maintenance and/or minor adjustments can fix the problem.
- If the problem cannot be solved locally, you will have to submit a repair report. This is done through a
WWW form. The form sends an email message to CK:P staff.
- CK:P will see if the item is under warranty. If so, we will have the hardware serviced by the manufacturer.
- If the item is not under warranty, someone from CK:P will visit the school and repair the item.
At end of the project, the equipment will be donated to the school district and they will be responsible for
computer repair.
