Support Needs: 1. Bi-monthly meetings during early morning planning (2nd and 4th Mondays of the month) 2. Rep from CK:P at each meeting (may diminish later) 3. Regular contact with CK:P rep by email. 4. An in-service for all staff email, overview of Internet. (Supply accounts for all staff, teachers on wg-schiller will mentor one or two other staff members.) Timeline: First semester: 1. Develop a process for giving students the opportunity to have hands-on experiences with the Internet tools. 2. Develop a school-wide bulletin board for classroom information, current events, principal information ... 3. Research a topic using the Internet and produce a report. Second semester: 1. Provide email accounts for students. 2. Contribute to the bulletin board. 3. Create an online report based on their research. 4. Contact another student from another PACE school, PPS school, or other school on the Internet. 5. Design an inservice to familiarize parents with the curriculum potential of the Internet.
