This is not a one-for-one transcription of the original document.
A decision on the intrinsic value of the document permitted and the
demands of presentation in electronic format required that the
original be modified for meaningful online presentation. The
charts, somewhat altered, are presented in tables and in
preformatted text.
All data in the electronic version is identical to the data in the
original--a carbon, typewritten copy on a paper with the
quality of onion skin. Due to the poor quality of the original, attempts to
scan in the original text and perform optical character recognition were
unsuccessful. Therefore, all text, charts and numbers were entered by
hand. In some cases, it was necessary to edit the text when it was
obvious that an error existed in the original, (for example). These
particular emendations are all noted in the body of the work. The

was unpaged. Some changes in capitalization have been made for appearance
and uniformity. The photographs appear in the order in which they appear within
the text, but also
The original document has been disbound and photocopied and the photocopies rebound. Negatives and contact prints were made of the original prints which have been protectively filed away.
