The Point: Seal of the City of Pittsburgh

CAPTION: Seal of the City of Pittsburgh,
based on coat of arms of William Pitt.
This is the seal used at present (7 August 1928), still the old die,
which is not entirely correct since the ordinance of 1925. As soon as
this die is worn out, a new one will be made, based on the revised
coat of arms.
NOTES: An ordinance in 1950 
added William Pitt's motto, "Benigno Numine."
