The Point: Block House

CAPTION: The Block House of old Fort Pitt about
1890, as it appeared before its restoration. The Point at that
time was thickly populated.
NOTES: Additional views of the Block House show it
as it may have looked in 1764;
picturesquely when used as a dwelling;
somewhat ramshackle;
and under water in 1907.
