The Carnegie will use the occasion of its 100th year to continue its efforts to provide the residents of Western Pennsylvania and visitors to the region with both educational and entertaining experiences, thus making a positive difference in their lives.
The combined resources of Carnegie Institute and Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh will be utilized in a shared effort that stimulates the curiosity of visitors and appeals to the favorable memories of our members, patrons, staff, volunteers and families.
Unified marketing and advertising strategies will be employed to communicate the full scope of existing programs, exhibitions, and special events and will help convey The Carnegie's openness and role in fulfilling today's informational and social needs.
The results of our mission will be increased attendance and membership, encouragement of continued visitation and use of services, and ultimately, the securing of new audiences.
