Oakland: Just Another Home Run

Bill Mazeroski's home run in the bottom of the ninth inning in the seventh game of the 1960 World Series won the Pittsburgh Pirates the championship. Mazeroski says,

I never looked at myself as a hero. It was just another home run to win a ball game. (25)
