games and 20 sandlot
or semi-professional games of baseball were presented at Greenlee Field.
The average attendance at the professional games was 700, admission prices
ranging from 25 to 60 cents. (20)

average weekly wage of 104 black, male laborers on The Hill was $28.20. (21)
So, in rough terms, a ticket to see the
Pittsburgh Crawfords play would represent 1% to
just over 2% of a man's weekly income.
