Nina,

You seem to be quoting me as saying that the McCain/Feingold Bill will do further harm. Where did I say that?

It seems to me that the only thing McCain/Feingold might accomplish is to change the beneficiaries of the system. In that case the Bill would be merely useless rather than harmful although it might be harmful just as the CFR of the 1970's has proven to be. I just don't know and neither do you but you would advocate it anyway.

I would like to figure out a way to change the culture but that is like wanting to change human nature. Can we do that?

I'm against the McCain/Feingold Bill because it is off target. It does not address the issue.
