These comments apply to those homo sapiens type American citizens who earn or otherwise acquire $100,000 per year per family, or who earn more but are public-spirited and honest. For us, the system is not only broke, it is almost really, really, really broke. We either fix it or we don't. Neither Choice 2 nor Choice 3 come anywhere near fixing it. Therefore for us, Choice 1 is the only good choice.
Reed Davis' March 28 posting is eloquent and convincing.
The Founding Fathers did all they could to keep political factions from occupying the cat-bird seats the Democratic and Republican parties are in today. It is up to us to follow their example if we want to keep faith with them and all who have died in the cause of freedom.
