Jay, is there any way addressing the issues of financing campaigns relates to your definition of the real problem? Where I live almost all issues are symptons - but they must be addressed.

I'm Mary Olson, using deliberation as the first step of building a civil society with "unity through equality" in the Arkansas's Mississippi Delta. The region I'm in is often described as the poorest, most racially and economically divided "third world culture" in America. For us, the process of deliberation itself is akin to the civil rights movement of the 1960s because it gives a voice to the oppressed.
