money and politics

I am a senior in High School at Woodland Park High school. I believe that all of our countries power and government has gone to money.  Everything is based on money these days. From the everyday teenage life to the electoral office.  We have forgotten what this country is made up of.  We used to be founded on what our Country was and who we were, not how much we can spend and how much money can put out.  We are the future and I feel that we need to make a stand against this obsession of money, we need to set an example for everyone to become the American citizens we used to be.  Money has and never will measure the worth of a person.
